Our accommodation is ideal for guests, seeking peace.
Surrounded by the beautiful, magical Waldviertel lies the cemetery founded around 1853.
It is the a mixture of nature right on your doorstep and idyllic tranquillity that let you shake off the stress, noise and ever-increasing acceleration of life.
The gentle hills and the bright forests invite you to hike, cycle and ride a horse.
In summer you can go swimming at the nearby Frauenwieserteich pond (approx. 3.2 km) and land a fish with a fishing licence.
Winter invites you to go cross-country skiing, cross-country skiing directly at our front door, snowshoeing and even alpine skiing. Family-friendly slopes are nearby and a rental station for bicycles, skis... is located in Langschlag and Liebenau.
In our rustic guesthouse we have put a lot of effort into making you feel comfortable.
It has a covered terrace with a view of the surrounding area, a small kitchen with dishwasher, coffee machine ( Senseo Phillips), toaster, electric kettle, stove, microwaeve and all necessary dishes.
In the sitting area you can eat, read, play and watch TV. A bathroom with shower rounds off the lower floor.
A staircase leads to the upper floor, where there is a double bed and two single beds. No car noise will disturb your well-earned sleep here.
Besides the wonderful nature that you can enjoy here, there are also many different destinations.
The Bison Ranch (approx. 4.5 km) with its Heurigen restaurant is very close to our house and its homemade Schmakerln are worth a visit.
In Gmünd (approx. 45 km) there is a thermal spa with a huge sauna landscape. Gmünd itself, Zwettl and Freistadt invite you to stroll around.
The Ottenstein reservoir, Rapottenstein Castle and Zwettl Abbey are just a few of many other excursion destinations.
